Arbour Bar & Woodfired Pizza

17 Oxford Street, Lyttelton

Arbour is a bar, artisan woodfired pizza restaurant, live music venue and community space, a home away from home, serving local brews and other tasty treats.

Believing that food is best experienced with community, Arbour have designed a menu with sharing in mind. The menu follows the seasons using almost exclusively New Zealand sourced ingredients. The highly experienced, dedicated pizza chefs work with a beautiful woodfired oven to produce stunning artisanal pizza you can’t get anywhere else.

Arbour believes in supporting local. Their menu showcases local breweries, wineries and food producers. Their beef cows graze above Corsair bay and their lemons are carefully delivered by hand from Little River. The logs for the woodfire oven come directly from a local arborist. This approach, coupled with a seasonal focus, revolving specials board, and humming local community, means Arbour can showcase the best produce at their fingertips. They even raise their own pigs (fed on food scraps from the restaurant no less!)

And, they have a selection of plant based pizzas, sides and desserts and gluten free bases available.

Handmade whole pizzas can be purchased from $20. The dough is made using Italian flour to create an authentic and textured pizza base – taking around 30 hours to fully complete a 30cm pizza. Additionally, ingredients such as cheeses are Italian for a natural taste.
