Projects & Committees
How We Work
We have a range of sub-committees tasked to an ongoing project/objective or for a specific, one off project. An equally large role is to identify projects that affect the Harbour area (e.g. the Special Housing Area), then actively consult and work with governing bodies and our local community to act as representation for the Lyttelton business owners, people and area.
Therefore, our projects & sub-committees can be loosely categorised as either a:
LHBA Committee/Project | A sub-committee operating under the LHBA, for a particular project or objective (often ongoing).
Consultation Project | A local project or development in which LHBA are undertaking a consulting/representation role between the community and governing bodies or developers. The project may be at a monitoring or active involvement stage.
